Morning: Hotel picked up and drive to Cu Chi village where It has a network of tunnels which is stretched over 250km. Cu Chi became legendary during the 1960’s in playing a vital role in the Vietnam War by allowing VC (Vietnamese Communists) to control a largely rural area of 150 square kilometers, just 60km away from Saigon, The Head Quarter of South Viet Nam Government before 1975’s. Having a stroll around the area will give you more interesting stories about how were guerrilla fighters get operated. There is an opportunity to fire off some classical rifles such as Ak47, M16, M30… But Fees for firing range are not included. Finishing the tunnels tour with a taste of steamed tapioca before driving back to Saigon for your own lunch.
In the afternoon, we shall visit some famous landmarks in Saigon such as War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office and Ben Thanh market where we finish our lovely day tour with a nice local beer bottle.
