DAY 1: SAIGON – VINH LONG HOMESTAY (L, D)
Our tour guide will pick you up at the hotel and drive 3 hours with a break stop on the way to Vinh Long City located on the bank of Mekong river in Viet Nam. We shall visit Vinh Long market in the town. This is the best choice for you to take pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, vegetable…we shall get on a local motorboat from here to visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. Afterward, visit nursery garden owned by the real famous farmers “Mr. Tiger” or his son who are happy to interact with and very successful in Vietnam agricultural renovation. Then, we keep cruising to another local home for enjoying fresh tropical fruits and traditional music where we also check in for an overnight homestay. One more thing to do in this trip is biking! It will be so amazing to bike on village paths to see the local farms, houses, real life and the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in the Mekong Delta. In the evening, cooking some dishes with the owners and enjoy dinner at the homestay. It is happy to chat with the locals about the culture, people, history of this Island. They do not mind to answer some personal questions.

DAY 2: CAI BE FLOATING MARKET – SAIGON (B)
Have an early breakfast and then take a boat trip to Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges with full of fruits and vegetables on them.
The rowing boat will take you farther into the countryside on smaller canals and enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make interactions with them and see how they catch fish. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see how to make rice paper, coconut candy pop-rice and pop-corn…
The cruise will end at Cai Be Town where we drive back to Saigon. Stop over for lunch on the way.
